Hospitalist sought to provide in-hospital patient care as an internal medicine physician in accordance with requirements of the Hospital's Hospitalist Program. The Employee's clinical responsibilities will include but are not limited to: (i) care of patients admitted to the Hospital's medical service, (ii) initial admission work-up (i.e., history and physical), (iii) follow up visits, (iv) discharge day visit, (v) consultation and follow up, as appropriate, for patients on other clinical services (for example: pre-operative evaluations), (vi) care of patients on the Hospital's Transitional Care Unit ("TCU") and (vii) performance of selected procedures for which the physician is privileged.
 A qualified candidate will have an M.D. degree (or its foreign educational equivalent), will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, and will be licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Founded as Brockton Hospital in 1896, the Hospital is the oldest and largest inpatient facility in its service area. We are a community-based non-profit teaching hospital, providing a full range of clinical services. We maintain a major teaching affiliation with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and are fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
